Comic or Lite novel

so i have a new project, It was actually initially supposed to be a game but my coding is really rudimentary.
i started writing it as a lite novel but i asked my audience what they would prefer and they almost all unanimously said comic. the problem here is that im not sure if i have the energy anymore. im not sure if its because im getting over artblock or if its just daunting but i cant seem to figure out whether i should make it a comic or not.

what do you guys think? is this a good idea?

Provide a synopsis or brief of what you have in mind for us to get an understanding and form an opinion.

Visual works are indeed more likely to attract people initially than novels, but I think it still depends on which one you yourself prefer.

Try producing a comic. If it's really too much work, then do a novel. At the very least have your story released in some form.

Try doing the comic, when it gets too stressful then make a novel with some illustrations
and only draw the stuff that you love drawing. I´m a comic guy so I´ll always vote for comics

While Tapas doesn't host them, it may be a good idea to look into making a visual novel. The coding aspect is super simple compared to full blown games, and the art asset load isn't as bad as making a comic. (Though it's still a lot TBH.)

some things ive seen people do were a sort of like... journal/prose style comics? where its somewhat similar to an illustrated novel, except with more emphasis on the illustrations and actual panels when it works better. not sure if this is a good idea for you, but i know my friend who found both pure novel and pure comic too difficult decided to go this route
