Day 16, folks! Just realized we're halfway through. Time flies when you're having fun.

Colored the flats for the left hand page. Right side still needs a lot of work.

Gonna try making a schedule for myself to figure out if I can still get this chapter done by the end of the month.

Day 17! Was cooking yesterday and did too much grating/chopping, now my hand is a little sore. So only inked one panel today.

Just playing it safe cause I've strained my hand in the past. I think it should feel back to normal tomorrow though.

Day 18! Inked and colored a few more things today.

Finally facing my "fear" of drawing two characters interacting/with overlapping body parts. It's so tricky, but I know it'll get easier the more I draw these types of poses.

I’ve been busy for a few days that I forgot to post my progress here, but I’ve been getting something done each day.

Yesterday I started adjusting the lineart on panels to give it varying widths, and finished that step today!

This is an example of that step:

I exported the files and will be ready to add the finishing touches!

@gabriellabalagna I feel this so much xD it feels like I am drawing for so many years and still not really over this people interacting thing. Looks really good though!

Was primarily doing Hex today. I need to find time for MOM too, but I keep feeling like zombie hopefully some vitamins will help, living with no sun isn't really as fun as it sounds.

Day 19! Same old inking and flatting again today.

But these tiny little versions of my characters are giving me an extra dose of laughter today. IDK why. They're just so small and stiff I guess.

@gabriellabalagna characters from afar are always a great laugh, I have that one panel with all the characters from the first season of Hex that we just use for different kind of memes lovely shades of green, btw!

Today's update! Wow, it's October 20th already. I feel like I am going back into drawing shape bit by bit, so hopefully it's true.
I am thankful for Yara's hands. Best. Design. Decision. Ever.

Day 21! Did the lineart and flats for a giant background panel today.

Not too experienced with grassy landscapes, but it actually turned out pretty well. Can't wait til my actually comic comes out so I can share it; trying not to give everything away.

Whoa, today was a ride. Hubby was really under weather and I had no more stories to draw xD So I made up this one on a whim with some idea from hubby. Also the first time I drew a toad, hey!

Aww, hope you stay healthy. And your toad turned out really well! I've tried to draw frogs before, but their heads and bodies are kinda a weird shape to figure out how to draw.

Day 22! Got the rest of the backgrounds lined and flatted for this chapter! Here's one of em below.

My last comic was all snow. So it's a nice change and challenge to be drawing grass and plants instead.

The last few days were not great, so I am glad I was still able to finish and publish the daily update (even though a bit too late in the day). Well, it's not without reasons I only finished 3 inktobers in 6 years before this one xD thankfully after some point you really want to fail a day, but just can't allow yourself to do it 🤪

@Kelheor Thanks, great work to you too! You're really killing it this month with your "inky" style. Those full illustrations have so many lovely little details.

Also, I've been drawing about 10 years now and I've only done monthly art challenges maybe 4 times. It sounds so simple, but yeah, there were many days I want to "fail" too. So yeah, you're not alone.

Day 23! It's a busy day, so Imma just skip uploading an image as my "proof" that I actually drew. I did do 3 panels though.

Tomorrow's busy again for me, so I guess I'll just wake up a little earlier so I can get enough drawing in. Hope tomorrow goes well for you all too!
