I'm currently working on Devil's League, just the opening sequence at the moment.
Updates are slow, but I'd appreciate any feedback on the pages I have posted so far.
To summarize, the story is loosely (very) based on 13th to 16th century world history (primarily Europe and Asia) with an emphasis on the supernatural (witchcraft, daemons & seraphs, paganism\pantheons, etc.). Taking inspiration from Dante's Inferno, biblical prophecy (Tribulation) and other historical documents, I'm attempting to compile a number of interesting events (the Crusades, the Black Plague, etc.) and interesting historical figures (Vlad Dracula, Erzsébet Båthory, Ivan Vasilyevich, Queen Mary, Jeanne d'Arc, etc.) into a single plot.
Protagonists of this story include a member of the Knights Templar (Blake Ludolf) and a Celtic necromancer (Kiera Raine). Blake receives a particular curse mark after Kiera bewitches him into committing a heinous crime; he pursues her while evading the Knights Templar in order to "save his soul" \ "redeem himself".
Here is an illustration I recently made of Kiera (WARNING: slightly NSFW?)
