Just checked out Double Crimson! It's still pretty early on, so I can't say much about the plot or characters yet, but I loved the monster design and the classic shounen vibes. I have a feeling a cool fight scene is coming up soon, and I'm pretty hyped for that.

There are a few here that I've been meaning to check out. Going to start with Dreams and Nightmares, Hannah, Not the Wolf, and Maho no Ken, and then see where I go from there.

UPDATE: Still haven't gotten around to reading as much as I would like. Only got the first few chapters of Dreams and Nighmares down. I haven't forgotten about this thread! I'll get to the stories when I can TnT

@DaphnePanda lot of unique creatures. The main character s power are very interesting.

@youu2sef your chapters are quick reads and I can sorta see the Black clover influence.

@lordsomething36 there's a good feel for the character of Jervis. He comes across as battle hardened and that even if it's the beginning of the story. That he s been fighting for a while.

That is one of the reasons why I wrote the story in first person. (I want the readers to get to know Jervis, and it came from the Fate/Stay Night visual novel influence)

I have more experience writing in first person than in 3rd person. It is definitely a good way to get hidden insights.

• First, for the episodes shortness, I really don't like the episodes to be so longer because it makes me bored of a lot of reading in just one episode, so I keep my episodes between 200 words and 500, but sometimes I surpass this number .

• Second, I won't lie when I started all this story I was inspired by the anime " black clover " and a video game called " ride out heroes " , but if you read the available episodes you'll find out the difference in events .

Thank you! I really wanted it to feel like a different world, and creatures were probably the thing I focused on the most for that.

I do want to read your story as well, but I'm a bit swamped at the moment >.< I'll try to get to it this weekend though.
