Conventions for comic panel artists?

Anyone know a good list of conventions that comic strip panel artists go to? I know about all the comicons around but am not sure if they only have comic book artists there.

You're probably not going to find any catered specifically towards comic strips vs. comic books. That's like splitting hairs! No matter what kind of comic you do, you're a comic artist, and will fit right in with everyone else. If anything, you should shift your focus to trying to find indie-friendly events and areas. Some conventions have a large crowd looking for original content and others don't, so sometimes it's just trial and error if you can't find reviews about it online.
