Copyrights to reposted stories?

Would it wrong to post a story I posted on another site, to Tapas? I own the story, but Amazon said they do not want the exact story from another site on theirs (obviously), I'm planning on altering it for Tapas. But is it OK, does this site have a problem with reposted stories from other sites?

Tapas are really chill about it and perfectly happy, even if you're on one of their creator programs. So long as they haven't commissioned your work as a "Tapas Original" with an exclusivity agreement, you're all good!

You own the copyrights. Unless you get an exclusive contract you may post them basically in any site you want. I imagine you enrolled on Amazon's special program otherwise you would be able to post your story on multiple sites. If you want to continue on Amazon's special program I suggest you don't repost your story on Tapas.

If you still want to post your story on Tapas then just leave Amazon's special program and sell your books on amazon kindle without any of the extra benefits of being on Amazon kindle Vella or on their special program. Doing that won't require you to be exclusive to amazon.

IF you are on Vella with the story in question, it's better to create an entirely unique story for Tapas than try to outwit the bots. Amazon has deleted entire portfolios from people's acts counts for breaking the TOS.

I just checked: not in program... In fact I'm not even really having my book advertised in anyway (It's difficult to find either one in the search engine) So I guess it's OK if the story is THAT insignificant there
