Could a novel read like a script and be good? Or at least feel very different from your usual novel?

I mean, any famous playwright is proving they can! Haven't seen anything close to being actually good on Tapas though, but maybe they are just hard to find.

Probably most likely I just want to see a unique writing style is all.

I tried it once with a comic I'm working on. I published the script for it to see how interested in the story people would be. And I got compliments on the story but people weren't very fond of reading a story in script format. It's just not something readers are used to.

It might not be what you were looking for. But this novel has some unique take on different writing styles. The first episode is a written report to a queen with personal opinions from the character.

Some plays are written specifically to be read rather than performed, so I guess yes, a novel can read like a script and be good.

Yeah it's great! the tale of a magic rabbit supposedly helping out the village people then changing because of mishaps was something, though that father guy was a douche but had good reasons for it. It's honestly kind of sad though.
