Crafting Engaging Social Media Content for Novelists: A Collaborative Discussion

Starting a discussion after such a long time! I know this topic has been discussed at length multiple times by others, but my question is more focused on novels and not comics (although comic artists can also chime in if they like).

Getting to the point, I wanted to know what sort of content to promote on social media for promoting our book series. Unlike many comic artists who can at least post their art, I feel like many writers might feel lacking in that department or simply won't have time to produce such content on a daily basis.

In my case, I can make art creatives but simply can't find time to make them. I want to keep posting on my social handles daily to keep the audience engaged, but I barely get the time to write, and posting on social media on top of that becomes a hassle.

My goal in starting this discussion is to get suggestions from other creators on awesome ideas that take less time but help in generating interesting content for social media book promotions and engaging readers regularly. Any AI-based solutions would also suffice, but the solution must be sustainable and accessible to any authors who are starting out, as such creators barely have any funds to fuel their creativity.

Description: When I do have the time, I do make my own art and videos to promote my novel. But if I don't have the time or just don't feel like it, I either make something on Canva or reuse/just make a basic post. Even just posting a simple of "I've updated my novel" helps.
Making a a short video for tiktok, youtube or others is a good idea. Such as showing a part of you novel over music, etc.
I know people who record themselves reading the novel and post it on different websites too. I think if you have a decent mic this can be a good idea as it accessible to more users.
Tools or tool you use: Canva is a free tool and tapas itself recommends, you just need to sign up for it. Though if you have a another app either on iPad, phone, computer its just as good.
You can use Kine master to make and edit videos (Which is Free) for iPad and phones
IMovie you are just starting out. But if you have better apps/equipment use that instead.

Personal opinion: I know using AI is a debated topic (personal I don't use it) but its just not a good practice, some people might just troll you or leave negative comments on your work. Some people might just skip over it cause is AI art. Yes when you starting out you might be tempted to use it but you don't want to give anyone a reason not to read your work.
