Luckily for me, I can throw away $10 bucks a months on Photoshop- I also use it quite a bit, as I color my comic pages and other projects with it. I do suggest if you dont have $120 a year for even the lowest Photoshop subscription- get Clip Studio Paint. I've colored a few of my works with that program as well and it does a decent job- aside from a sub-par but decent job it does with lettering and the lack of a "warping" tool in transformation, Clip Studio still does a pretty viable job in comic making. I mainly got CSP for it's inking abilities, but I'm happy that it can do a lot more..!
