Alright just finished catching up to a couple of these so I'll go ahead and make my thoughts known
@vongcw : With Aetherwar it is on a professional level with the artwork in terms of character design, backgrounds, coloring, type, everything about this is spot on and I could see this being sold and printed at a comic or book store, it's that good. Though a minor complaint I have is that while the characters look good, sometimes their facial expressions can be a bit off, like with the dad when he was embarassed or when the man was scared by the monkey. But other than that the art is one again fantastic
In terms of story I love the Victorian/magic theme going on here. The world has a lot of potential with its magic and rules, and already you've established some of those rules which is good. The characters themselves are really good so far, but I can't really comment on much else until more of the story is updated. Overall, a fantasticly done series so far ^^
@TACOBERTO: Already I love your comic so far, especially the characters, might have a bias though because of my own comic is going to have a city with mutants in it but point still stands this is really good so far. One little thing I enjoy is the diversity in language, which was a nice choice and adds more depth to the world and makes it feel like there's other cultures through their language instead of just their appearance and only speaking English.
The abilities some of these characters are presented with can be a bit basic but if this ends like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure where characters are really creative with their abilities then I can't I wait to see what you can do. But also hands down best girl is Ashley right now. I remember how in one of the covers it shows her beheaded body holding two heads the blonde one and a brunette one. Kinda curious to see if she has like a split personality with those heads.
Art is pretty good, I can see it being able to improve over time and it's usually appealing which is good. I think the night scenes though look a bit better than the daytime scenes presented so far, and that's a big compliment because to me drawing those nighttime scenes can be hard with how you want to present information in terms of characters, background and lighting since it is, y'know, night time.
This is a really great comic so far, and I can't wait to see more updates from it man ^^
