I can only empathize because I’m new to drawing and I’m in an awkward phase where I’m trying to make my character look like my character at all angles (if that makes sense)?? And I’ve already had a chapter that just didn’t fit right and I attempted to go back to the way it had started. Art grows as you become for comfortable wth your dexterity and the strokes/lines that you use for your characters. I already attempted to re-draw the chapter I wasn’t happy with but I figured I’d just continue developing and spend my effort working on new stuff rather than dwelling.
And honestly I’ve read so many webcomics and manga that started out with less impressive drawing that grew as the story went on (and I usually never even notice unless I go back to re-read them again)!
I’d advise to finish working in completeing your story and re-draw after when you’re done, so you don’t get trapped working too hard on the past. Plus, I don’t think your old stuff looks bad at all!
