I can only empathize because Iām new to drawing and Iām in an awkward phase where Iām trying to make my character look like my character at all angles (if that makes sense)?? And Iāve already had a chapter that just didnāt fit right and I attempted to go back to the way it had started. Art grows as you become for comfortable wth your dexterity and the strokes/lines that you use for your characters. I already attempted to re-draw the chapter I wasnāt happy with but I figured Iād just continue developing and spend my effort working on new stuff rather than dwelling.
And honestly Iāve read so many webcomics and manga that started out with less impressive drawing that grew as the story went on (and I usually never even notice unless I go back to re-read them again)!
Iād advise to finish working in completeing your story and re-draw after when youāre done, so you donāt get trapped working too hard on the past. Plus, I donāt think your old stuff looks bad at all!
