Have you noticed a particular day of the week that is good?

I've been updating every Friday to be consistent, but I wonder if I should try a weekend or something instead. I usually get more subs the saturday after I post than the Friday, so it makes me wonder if I should just push it off a day.

Also what would you consider the worst time of day to post? Or the worst day of the week?

Also any tips on how to make friends over there to cross promote with?

I have a bit of experience with Webtoon so I think I will also chime in : D

In my experience, I generally found the best time to post is 4PM - 6PM (GMT-6) since that is when a lot of readers in America (it is LINE Webtoon English after all) are getting off from school, or peps with works get off from work.

Also if you want to announce a fixed day you will be updating, don't forget to include your timezone! I learned this the hard way after many comments later saying "It's already past the promised day" because there are a lot of readers that read English Webtoon who live on the other side of the planet, which means typically 10+ hours ahead.

A good way to make friends either on Tapas or Webtoon is just follow creators on their social media, draw fanart for them, write fanfic, etc, leave a nice comment on other people's stuffs. I also find out that when I do QA and listed out what comic in the Discover section I enjoy (low key promoting/advertising without really asking for anything in return), those creators tend to end up finding me too and express that they also enjoy my comic and that was how we became friends!

Guess I need to figure out this social media thing... sigh(I feel so old for not getting it). But I have no art friends IRL and I really want people to talk to about it. Any particular site that is better than the rest in your person opinion? I kinda locked myself out of twitter by giving them the wrong email(typo) and somehow typoed my password too(Yeah I'm a walking disaster). I did something similar with instagram and just gave up on social media after that.

Yeah, at first I make my Webtoon long (way too long I guess), so people get all the qualities of the story.. (also those reader's demands on Indonesian server) but I learned that, it's not about quality in one episode, but the quantity and frequency of updates then qualities. making way too long is taking a lot of time, the best way to go is make it short/divide them then update often at least once a week.

having schedule also pretty much help, but I still can't do that.

Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge about Line Webtoon!! I haven't posted my comic on there yet, but I definitely have plans to and this really gives a better understanding on how to handle uploading there Found this extremely informative, thanks again!! ^_^
