congratulations!
i'll be binge-reading it when i get the time but i got some technical questions if you don't mind (didn't read the comments yet so plz ignore any repeated questions )

1. what kept you going?
2. how much did the script change from when you started? or was the script mostly set in stone? (alternatively: did you cut any content cuz you couldn't be bothered with at that time?)
3. a word of advice to someone who really like their story but has commitment issues lol?
4. are you happy/satisfied with the final product?
5. any regrets?

1. Knowing I have a set ending. The ending for the series was solidly written probably a month into production. I knew it pulled all the right emotional strings, and that was where I needed to go come hell or high water. Honestly if I were drawing and writing on the fly, I probably would have left the comic incomplete.
2. The script didn't change too much. I had 75% of it completely outlined and mostly scripted before I started production on pages. I added content to the script as I saw fit based on audience reactions as I went along, but not too much. But because I had most of it written already before the pages would be created, it gave me a lot of wiggle room to alter things if I didn't feel they fit anymore.
3. Just keep developing it behind the scenes until you know you can realistically finish the entire story! It's only a 'commitment' if you start pages and share them publicly, because then you add the pressure of the expectation to update relatively consistently and to actually take the story somewhere. That's why I'm a hard line advocate of having stuff scripted in advance first before making and sharing any pages. Even if you're doing gag-a-days, have a buffer of scripts and jokes you can use!
4. Yeah, for the most part I'm content with the final product. Demon House was never my proudest, shining baby. Like there are parts of it that I love, don't get me wrong, but I hold a couple of my other stories in higher regard.
5. My only regret was being sick last year which stunted production big time, but there's no helping that.
