I had hopes for DeviantArt when they implemented the NFT and art theft detector feature. Like they can't stop people from making bad decisions but at least they're doing everything they can on their end. Lately I'm starting to think DeviantArt is trying to appeal to the general public and no longer just for the artists.
I don't believe getting rid of one's DeviantArt account or artworks will stop AI generated artworks overall from existing considering you have other art websites being used for these works. We're on a grey area where self-employed artists rely on posting their works on social media and then hobbyist who enjoys interactions from their followers. I really don't know what solution is better other than to plug out of social media, even then the results has been permanent.
