Did you draw your story characters in this way?

Well, Christmas is forbidden in Islamic law, so I don't celebrate it. But the characters in my story are European, so it's only natural that they would celebrate. And well, I drew the characters this way for comedic effect... but I really enjoyed drawing Clancer, which is a Christmas tree.

I love everything about Christmas except the presents. The atmosphere,
the christmas markets (I´m german), meeting with the family. I´m not a
religious person.

I wrote a christmas story in 2024 which I will draw in 2026, a company´s
christmas party which goes wild.

Someone told me a while ago that they can´t draw faces because it´s against
islamic law. Have you ever heard of something like that. I was hard for me to

We Muslims have different religious schools of thought. There are Sunnis who forbid the depiction of living beings, so some artists draw without features or omit parts of the drawing, etc. However, in my school of thought, which is Shia Islam, there is no problem in depicting living beings as long as this does not involve worshipping anything other than Allah.

To the best of my understanding, depicting images is considered sin in some religions, because the idea is coming against the sin of idolatry.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth

"Graven image" in Strong's lexicon

Notice all it's contextual usage has to do with worshipping an image. Worshipping an idol.

In the modern times, an idol can be a musician, athlete, politician... or even a political or religious ideology. You know you're in Idolatry if the said idol can do no wrong no matter what.

Idolatry is a HEART issue. Not the image itself.
