I’m trying to draw pages while accounting for eventual printing. This is what the page looks like when I’m drawing.
This what it’s SUPPOSED to look like when the bleed gets cut off.
But this what the page looks like when it gets exported by itself.
That’s WAY too much space around the sides to look good! I know it makes since for printing but to just upload by itself it looks awkward. Is it really necessary to account for this space if I know I might not be printing for at least a while? Do people who upload their pages end up just having to reformat for print later anyway? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
When you export there should be a settings dialogue box that comes up. That is where you adjust those settings.
Ah! There is a box! That definitely saved me a lot of time and stress! Thanks for the heads up!
My pages are large for printing anyways, so I also save a separate web version that's smaller in resolution and is also cropped to remove the bleed.
That´s why I love this forum I didn´t know about the box and adjusted all my pages in photoshop when I sentit to print
