Do Webtoon take submission?

I know Webtoon Editors go through Canvas to find the hidden gems but I also heard some Originals started because authors were pitching their ideas in conventions (I don't know if it's 100% accurate tho', they may have noticed random comics and liked it xD).

My question is, do they take submissions through email like in the old fashion way, basically, you send a PDF pitching your comic project?
Is it okay to do it or they'll probably instant-blacklist you because you were annoying for even trying ?

I'm not sure about emails tho? They don't even get back to you on inquiries. Ever. Unless you're a Big Name artist :"P I don't think it warrants blacklisting lol. But probably it'll go ignored if i'm being real with ya.

Honestly i would really like to know too. I'd love to pitch something nice to them before putting it on Canvas. (or Patreon?) You can try directly asking some editors on Twitter if there is a place to pitch your ideas in?? Or the official WebtoonCanvas account instead since they are actual staff too.

Gotta be honest I didn't. I didn't do a lot of comic work last year so I didn't want to reach out if I had nothing to show haha! But I did a bit of scouting and found the twitter/IG of some editors, I keep that in mind when I'm gonna reach out to them.
