Not all of them or all the time, but sometimes, Villains will give opinions that I may have held or would hold, but wouldn't dare speak, because common sense makes me rationally put them down. Like, one situation in which a villain says that everyone has got 99 problems, he can't be the one to take care of them all. It's a monarchy in the story and he wants to become Emperor, putting him in a position that would force him to care about all of those problems and the protagonist calls him out on the fact that he would not be a good Emperor. Both of these opinions I would agree with, depending on the situation and the mindset. He then goes on to state that it doesn't matter if he's good or bad; the seat of the Emperor is hereditary and it's his bloodright to be on the throne. "Who could stand to disagree?" - because that would mean that every kingdom or empire would have to revise their leaders if that was to happen.
I'm not someone who likes being quoted with the lines of their characters, because it simply doesn't mean I would say any of the things in my book, no matter what it is, even the things said by the glorious protagonists of the novels. But that's one example where I can neither agree nor disagree with either of them myself.
