Do you refer to yourself as a writer or an artist first and foremost? Why?

I would probably call myself more of an artist, because I've been doing art a lot longer than writing, and to be honest my writing really isn't that great. My presence on the internet has pretty much been for my art, and I mainly started a comic because I thought comics were mainly focused on the art, and not the story and writing behind it. Overall, I guess before I would be able to call myself a creator, I would need to start prioritizing and improving on the writing side of things

Can I cheat and just say Storyteller.

I think I spend more time daydreaming than writing or drawing. Lol.

Yeah I think I'm neither really, I just want to tell a story. I suppose if I have to choose, I'd label myself a creator or storyteller.

I'm an artist, not a writer at all.

I have my own ideas and stories but I don't have the skills nor the interest to write, I chose to develop my artistic skills, mostly because that interested me the most and I could achieve a finished product faster.

I also have no need to tell my stories, so that's also a factor as to why I don't draw nor make my own comics, I'm fine drawing for others, but whenever I want to work on something small for myself, I seek out a writer (Sometimes I rely on my partner/friends or hire someone) to figure out things, especially the script.

I just refer to myself as a creator because I do a lot when I have the energy and dopamine for it and I don't think I could pick one as my "main" pastime.
I don't just create comics, I also write text only stories (used to do only that), create illustrations and make music so yeah, creator is the best word to use I think. Even though most of the time I don't do any of these things and play Mario Kart instead ...
