Awful being, scratching people who love her, animal cruelty in the form of playing with mice until they die, even tries to eat the merman on the crew!
The joke here is that she's a cat.
But real talk; Most every character I write are bad people and so I don't agree with a lot of them. I mean, heck, I joke about the cat in this one story but it's a pirate crew. The first scene is them attacking a merchant vessel to steal their stuff and deciding they're gonna wipe out the crew because they fought back. One of the crew members is terrified all the time because he was kidnapped from another ship and being forced to work with them. There are 2 crew members aboard super keen on the idea of a merfolk genocide. Lots of them are just kind of assholes...
And that's not even mentioning some of my other stories; namely the one I haven't decided on posting or trying to get published yet. Leading man really just beats the leading lady in the streets, SA's her, belittles her, compares her to a dog so many times, ect ect and is somehow still the lesser of two evils for her. But... yeah, we ain't gonna talk about that travesty rn.
