I've actually thought of making themes for my characters, but I'm still learning how to use the music program I'm using.

I get that. It was the opposite for me.

I used to write prose (then poetry for a while) while attempting to make music on the side.

It wasn't until I made this track that I finally felt confident in making songs:

Oh! And for those who noticed what inspired my track, I was directly inspired by the soundtracks I'd hear in romance visual novels, 90s/00s soundtracks, and just the whole aesthetic of that era! ^^

I have a punk band and made a pair of songs for a comic project I still have not drawn (though the characters and the songs appear on some Bohemian and Lonely Planet Boy's chapters)

Wow that's so cool, I didn't know so many comic artists on here also made music !

One of my main characters is in a band and I have a lot of fun coming up with song titles and lyrics for the scenes where we see them playing. I write them with a melody in mind and can kinda «hear» them in my head but I'm not musically talented enough to actually compose them.

I also make playlists to inspire me - sometimes I have songs for a specific character, or the relationship between two characters. I also made a playlist of songs that had the «vibe» I imagined for the band, so I can better imagine what they would sound like. Mostly alt/indie/kinda punk songs, and songs with weirdly specific titles or lyrics are my main inspiration for that.

I just started posting so it'll be a few updates 'til I get to those scenes but they're some of my favorite and I'm excited to post them
