Does anyone use illustrations in their novels?

I do use illustrations in my series that I make (manga style here too haha).

I have art through out my novels (I like to throw my money at artists) and you can add pictures into your novel!

Here's how it works. 1.) Copy your illustration from Photoshop or whatever program you have it on. 2.) Go to Firefox Browser (for some reason, other browsers don't work with this) and get ready to write or post something. The same way you'd upload anything. 3.) Go to your browser's edit option, usually at the top of the screen and physically click "paste." Again, for reasons unknown, CTRL+V doesn't work. However once you do that...BOOM! You get an illustration just like the one below. …

I know there are 'cheats' and such like using FireFox to get that image in but I really wish Tapas would give us novel writers the chance to normally put in images. I have so many drawings I want to share, come on.

I use royalty free images from Pixabay.

Well, I've tried copying images through firefox in multiple ways (copying from photoshop and pasting through the browsers edit tab, ctrl-c and ctrl-v along with many many other ways) but for some gosh darn reason it don't want to paste on Tapas. Makes me sad
Anyone know any other ways that might work for this?

I add a custom thumbnail for every chapter I post, but in my case, I do it for improving my drawing skills, all the while adding some context to the story.

the resolution of the picture must be small fo that to work try any resolution under 1000x1000.

You have to use Firefox and actually right click and copy and paste them in.

for the most part I keep my illustrations to only footers reminding readers to like and subscribe and comment... idk if it makes a difference but the graphic took me a minute to make and I like how it looks lol

I also try to do custom header banners for each chapter and the image relates to where (which kingdom) most of the chapter takes place in.

Alright, interesting point of note for this whole Copy/Paste Firefox situation.

This method works perfectly well on PC. However, on Mac this doesn't work at all. I believe it's because the copy function in their finder windows is somewhat different.

So yeah. this works on PC not so much on Mac. Otherwise all the other suggestions seem to work as well. Keeping it under 1000 pixels, right clicking and copy pasting that way.

I wanted to, and I totally do for Wattpad, but it can't be done on tapas to the same degree.

What do you feel like are the limitations with Tapas as opposed to Wattpad?
