People change over the years.

Twenty years ago I wrote angst elves. Now a thought of reading a tragic elf makes me want to laugh. I don’t like alphas and sparkly vampires, but I wrote a werewolf story to see how I would have written one...

I dunno, I also get it that becoming popular on an iffy trope then slamming those who also want to cash in is a bit shady.

Overall though, I am willing to believe in people changing their views sincerely, particular once they cross adulthood barrier. I’ve heard a lot of people go, omg, the crap I wrote when I was thirteen, so embarrassing...
