One of my favorite foods is Nabulsi cheese. And that's the one I will discuss here, because I drew a comic about it long time ago. Unfortunately, I have no idea where this comic is, but I can relate the story behind it.
So, the background is that it is a cheese difficult to find in Canada, so sometimes I even have to call in advance to enquire about supply etc, and I buy a relatively large quantity to last me long.
That one day was the 'get my monthly supply day', so cheese had been in my mind since the previous day. Before picking it up, I went to Walmart for something, and in front of me at the till, there were these two women. Their conversation went .something like that:
- I read this book explaining that all dreams are premonitory dreams, it's fascinating, you should read it.
- er, I'm not sure if it would sit well with my Christian faith..
- It would! Premonitory dreams are one of the ways God manifests to you! From your dreams you can learn what God has in mind for you!
And then there's me trying my best not bursting into laugher, remembering how the previous night, I had dreamt that I was helping an intelligent, sentient, anthropomorphic Nabulsi cheese determine the number of nigella seeds that were on its back.
