Drawing your original characters! Artist

Hello! I am looking to draw some of your original characters!

This is completely free. I thought this could be a way to help me practice and really hone in my style and whatnot. And I figured it would be fun to offer to help others as well!

This is something that I am thinking about doing every other week. I only plan to do headshots for now and will probably only do 3-5 at a time. I am also wanting to live stream the process of the drawings on my twitch! I figured, if nothing else, maybe this could get some traction on my Instagram and twitch and help me practice!

The rules:

Comment any characters of yours. No matter how big or small. Give as much detail as possible. If you have reference photos of hair style or clothing, even better!

You can comment as many of your characters as you want. Just make sure it is organized so that I can understand where one character description ends and the other begins.

If you comment on this thread and I draw your character, I am aloud to post it in my social medias as well as live stream the process. However, if it is posted anywhere, I will give credit to you for the character design and link your work.

Feel free to link your work so that I am better able to link it elsewhere.

Please only link your work if you are also leaving your OC description. The link will mostly be for me in case I share my design of your character, so that I can link you.

You are aloud to use my drawing of your character, however I do ask that if you post it anywhere, please do give me credit for the drawing itself. It would mean a lot to me and really help me out!

I will only choose one character from any one person. If I have already chosen one of your characters, I will not choose another of your characters in the same round.

I will randomly choose which characters to draw, it will be based on mostly which designs speak to me the most.

The best way to see who I chose is to watch the live stream. Or wait until after the stream and I post the finished products here.

I will be choosing the character designs as of this Friday and I will be live streaming the process on Saturday. The Livestream will start at 2pm in mountain daylight time zone, if you are interested in watching it! You will have the best chance of me seeing your comment and entry by posting between now and Thursday night.

If I do not choose your character, remember I hope to do this every other week. So there is still a chance that I will.

If you want to "skip the line" I do have commissions open and you can dm me on here or Instagram for those. I do have my commission info on my website which is linked on my Instagram. However, a commission would not be streamed with the other characters. It would be it's own separate project. It if I do choose one of your characters and you like my work, you can also commission me for other characters of yours.

This is Cate! She is a witch, which means she uses magic in the world she lives in. As seen on the references below she has red eyes and purple hair. She has a hime cut. As of now she ditched the black dress and wears some comfy clothing during her travels.

Sure, guess I'll toss my avatar in, since I don't have a reference for my actual characters yet.

He's a Slimefolk, basically a humanoid version of the stereotypical RPG slime.
The glasses are lower-half-rimmed-rectangles, the shirt's a black t-shirt, the pants are navy jeans and the shoes are leather slip-ons.

Draw it if you'd like, or don't.

Thank you for submitting, I wanted to mention, if you do want to add your characters, you don't have to have a reference of them specifically, just give good detail of what they look like and maybe add some photos from googled as examples for their hair style and whatnot. If you want of course. Just want you to know that it doesn't have to be a reference of your character specifically.

June, a wealthy heiress who's seeking to pioneer her own mercantile endeavours. She's very well read and quite tenacious, with strong negotiating skills which are sort of betrayed by a seemingly naive and bubbly outward disposition. (This is an older image, her hair is meant to curl in ringlets, like a french doll's.)

Kashika, a rather reckless and impulsive young woman with a disregard for collateral damage.

Mabi, Kashika's best friend and oft the voice of reason among their group, quiet though it may be. Mabi is a gentle giant at 6'3, with a tactful mind that searches for any solution without sword.

As for the characters, I have two I'd like to submit.
(Please let me know if something is still very unclear).

First and foremost I'd like to present Kir'aara to you. She is the main character of my comic "United We Stand" and hasn't been properly introduced yet, and so far I've only finished one bust piece of her, so I'll give you a short description of her here instead .

She is a human on in a distant galaxy where the human race is nearly extinct. Her race is considered a mistake, and has been shunned by the races of the planet she lives on throughout her entire life. Throughout her life she has been very gentle and careful around others. She greatly respects their god, and would never show him any kind of disrespect. She was entrusted with the fate of the world by a god who fears that all life will end on his planet unless he gets help from someone who is suitable to help him. Kir'aara has long black hair, blue and green eyes and a darker skin tone. She is dressed for her mission to help their god and is clad in a dark dress and white armor. As an accessory she was equipped with feathers of a great guardian bird on their planet, and a part of her transparent dress is shaped to represent the shapes of these feathers.

The second character I'd like to present to you is the "Peacekeeper". He is the god I mentioned in the description above. He does have a name, but has yet to be presented in my comic, and it is so far the way it will stay. He is approximately 13 billion years old and rules the world that, among others, Kir'aara lives in. He appears very prideful, and does not let anything get to him. Should he need to end someones life to save the lives of others, or end a war he will do so without question unless they could come to an agreement that would end with everyone's safety. During the story of my comic "United We Stand" he is consumed by an evil soul and needs Kir'aara, who is most eligible to carry the weight of his soul, to help him in his mission to make things right once and for all. His armor is split in half, and is partially black, while the other is white. He is meant to be a symbol of a perfect split of power, but the soul that is slowly consuming him is clouding his great power.
