Long Live Gwendolynn,
This deserves to be a tv show. It has a good set up, with an interesting idea about these intergalactic fairy tale characters talking residence on Earth while their home world is at war. (Something similar to Star vs the Forces of Evil).
I also like the portrayal of of Gwen as this deadpan, almost gothic princess that I also found to be very relatable, especially for teenagers and their struggles. I also love how it also sets up a good few mysteries with her origins, her father and her kingdom while setting up her hero's journey as she has to leave her invaded childhood home and adapt to a new life on Earth.
The humour is perfectly on par with Adventure Time, which also helps to balance out its darker moment.
This is a fantastic series and I'm glad to have read it @momoikhile.
This is apparently getting a revival with a new art style and darker storyline, which I am definitely looking forward to, but if you ask me, what we've got it here, works perfectly.
HAIL TO THE QWEEN.
