It turns out the cover i made for my new novel Through Mortal Eyes seems to be misleading.
It is a medieval dark fantasy that explores philosophical themes manipulative. It blends action, and psychological tension. It also delves into moral conflict and the hidden forces shaping a world on the brink of darkness.
But people say things like a woman trapped in an abandoned house of secrets or a woman spying through a unusually large keyhole 🥲🥲.
It's not like I'm sad or angry about it but how did I not see that people would look at it like that

I guess there's nothing about the cover that fits my description.
I don't know if it matters at all or not but I wonder who has been in the same situation as me. I would like to know

Well if it helps, I saw it the way you described!

I haven't had my covers be misinterpreted that I know of but how would I know if nobody told me?

I guess it kind of is. The cover looks like the wallpaper of a child's room, with all the mc's smiling, but the actual series gets pretty dark/intense.

Episode thumbnails are generally representative of the episodes content, just avoiding spoiling anything major I wanted to keep a surprise.
