Pff, no. Even after a lot of people, including me, tried to vouch for the Original Artists, people didn't care because they aren't "feminists" or from the political party Fatima Pecci Carou was. Some very... idiotic people, even claimed that the OG artists were jealous of her fame or that they should be thankful that thanks to her her work was being recognized, which is in fact the most idiotic take ever. They didn't even care about the fact that most of the artists she stole from were women and a lot defended her plagiarism because "her message" was what mattered
Despite how hypocrite it was, since it was about "reinserting women in art history after being removed frmo the story, silenced by The Great Masters (Male) and put in a muse role" but she is literally removing the original artists, negating their work and claiming it as her own.
But even so, people in Argentina believe that what happened with her "was a machist attack product of the Libertarian party" which, yeah, a lot of people who where against her were mostly caring because she is from another political party. All her "work" also takes part of her political agenda.
But it's not new nor surprising that in this country if you're from a specific, privileged group you'll get support. We have a ton of actual, young, female artists here who draw in anime/manga style and are way better than her.
This is the typically privileged caucasian woman who pays for her classes, graduates because our educational system is crap and very outdated, gets the support of the government thanks to her contacts and corrupt friends. But even some people who were classmates with her, claimed that she had the habit of stealing other people's projects or homework, and that whenever she was criticized she called out teachers for being either "machists" or "alienated women".
