Do you not just think that's how artists see the world?

I actually don't do most of this! xD the part of my brain that analyses this kinda stuff is something I have to consciously turn on.

I remember back then I used to be a super fan of anime and knew all the latest releases. Then I got into the animation industry and my perception changed. I've became more appreciative of Western cartoony style (because srsly you can learn the principles through them) though ironically my personal drawing style actually leans more on anime.

There are a handful of new animes that are good but most of the time I'll just go "ugh... another one with the same drawing style."
