Ever heard of Graphite Comics?

I just learned about this site right now and when I checked their IG, I noticed that some of the well-known creators are also there. Have any of you heard about this site? If yes, what are your thoughts about it?

I hadn't until now, but dang, Dark Horse and Tokyopop are publishers there? That alone is quite the endorsement.

Yeah. I personally think it's great, but since it's new and not a lot of people are in there, there's still doubts about this site. It looks legit, but y'know what I mean????? It looks too good to be true?? Idk what I'm saying.

I've uploaded Stand(H)ard at the end of last year, when SJ dived down. The platform is neat and rather easy to use, but no much reaction... as in 0 traffic!... I used it as an archives so I didn't promote at all, but still...

Edit: I forgot to mention that uploads / reading are in large format, so definitely better for traditional comics, and probably less for other format.

I've posted 5 of my comics on Graphite and my series has only gotten 2 views haha. I've had much more success on other platforms, I'm not sure what exactly the issue is over there.

The main content are comics from well known publishers.
Not as much indy or underground comics there.

To get a place in the spotlight you have to compete against professional made comics with a team behind it.
For me not worth it.

tokyopop kinda garbage tbh. and they're uploading their IP on webtoon canvas too so it's not that big of a deal, imo.

YIKES. Two things I hate in that article; big companies using Kickstarter, which drowns out the little guy... and companies wrenching the rights for stories and characters away from the creators. I'll never be publishing with TokyoPop, that's for sure.
