True. If I'm honest Kattar is combination of both, he'll put on a cheerful front, but be really broody by himself, or with people he trusts (as much as he doesn't realize that he really trusts anyone, he kind of subconsciously knows he trusts Alicia, or he wouldn't like her as much as he does)

Let's just say I'm glad I never started writing any "fanfics" or made a character based on her. Alternatively, I actually almost did something like you did but ....I'm not really good at doing characters based off real life people..

yeah, i think most people don't crush on themselves lol. But since I've written a few romances, they usually stem from some preference that I have, at least a little bit, try as I might to diversify the leads.

Absolutely! Especially if I'm writing a romance, it makes it a lot easier if I personally find the characters attractive.
Like I 100% WOULD for all these guys (and gal).

I put a little of me into all of my characters, but obviously not the same parts; and some may only have one trait, like maybe we both like to eat out.

Probably I don't crush on them because I'm not interested in romance? I dunno...though they say you gotta date yourself before you can date other folx, right? I'm all about showing myself a good time.

Tbh the one thing that made me fall for my ex was just how similar we were.

So in that sense I guess I have written characters I could have a crush on? Since I instill into them bits and pieces of myself. Though I have to say Kyara is definitely too energetic for my lazy ass

Is there a statue? I always thought it was a lower-class lady the male lead fell in love with...but of course he didn't really love her. He only loved an idealized version of her, the one he "made," and when she changed, she moved on from him. Well...at least that's what happened in the play.

Or is that what you meant by "statue"?
