Oh hey! I'm going to mix a few metaphors here (which is fitting), so here we go:
For your consideration, Unstoppable Monkey Bunny (A Sci-fi/fantasy/adventure comic... because why choose just one genre?).
It also recently won this year's "March Madness" contest for "Best Character Writing"(held on this forum by some very lovely, selfless, and dedicated creators).
At its core, the series is a love story with just a big, beating heart. Although there are many sweet and funny moments peppered into the adventure, it also deals pretty heavily with loss and grief (and the pain we carry with us). Not to mention, its cast can be found dancing in the morally grey areas from time to time. All in all, it's a bit of a comfort blanket. It can make you smile, make you cry (not saying that lightly, I've seen people literally weep while reading it), but ultimately its goal is to mend hearts and spark some joy.
It's 54 episodes in (but I like to keep them in the medium length range, so it's easier to get through).
I also hate selling myself- did I do a good job this time?
