@budweedzz your comic looks interesting, I'm a fan of rpg games so I so I enjoyed getting a similar feel from your comic..
Nice theme you included also about the 2nd chances and becoming something from nothing. Gave you a sub too 
Mines was originally a game idea, survival horror meets beat em up. It draws from superhero and dark fantasy elements too. It follows three heroes who gain powers after hearing a strange hum. On the downside they also became carriers of a virus that mutates the population into zombies. They are their own worst enemies & similar to your concept of second chances, they use their skills to defend survivors from the hordes and other carriers with sinister motives. Brotherhood is a core theme.
