My subs here are pretty low, but I garnished enough subscribers at my main site to initiate a Kickstarter campaign for the opening season of The Lion & The Owl. It starts on Wednesday. I'm both nervous and terrified - which is weird because I've been published, and I've self-published, but I've never done the crowd-funding thing.

The simple version: The Lion & The Owl is a semi-erotic web series for fans of ancient gay love stories. It is about the attraction that develops between two bitter enemies who share a sexual fighting kink: a Roman elite and a deadly Druid.

This campaign aims to produce an illustrated eBook of the first arc, Invasion, and a modest Print Run (100 books). My editor is @king-goldfish (writer of Big Dead Energy, here on Tapas) and my illustrator will be series cover artist, Dan Hurtado (vos.griz).
