This is probably the stupidest origin story for a space fantasy webcomic like this but here is how I came up with my story:
When I about 12 years old I was a huge fan of this anime called Hetalia. Yes I used to be a Hetalia fan and no I'm not proud of it either (no I'm joking, Hetalia is mostly nostalgic for me). If you don't know what it is it's basically an anime about personified countries set mostly in World War 2.
So 12 year old me was like "what if I made something like Hetalia, but with planets." And so, I made one! Began sketching "pages" of a slice-of-life comic featuring personified planets on my sketchbooks in between classes. They were stupid, but it was nice, haha. Although they were personifications of planets I never actually did research on planets because I was too lazy and also I was 12 who was too dumb for that shit. So I basically made my own lore. Dumped the idea for a bit and came back to it about 2018, and worked the story so that the characters were no longer personified planets and the lore is super different to the one right now.
Tl;dr, I got into an anime towards the end of weeb phase, made something inspired by it, got too lazy to research stuff about it so I made up my own lore, and four years later I'm turning it into a fantasy webcomic.
