Fruit Stories (or other food products stories)

Does anybody know about or remember any stories that exclusively involve anthropomorphic food items? I'm looking to create more stories plus also maybe start a reboot with my staple characters The Action Fruit Society. I'll use said stories you talk about for inspiration and try to make them more mature/adult oriented to fit the mold with these characters, because let me tell you. TAFS ain't nothing like the happy-go-lucky-fever-dream-inducing-preschool-shenanigans of Bubble Guppies, Teletubbies, or Sesame Street .
