some news~ I started the publishing of my second novel, a fantasy comedy called Quest to the silver city! only one part so far but it'll update frequently.
This actually sounds pretty interesting. I'll make sure to check it out soon!
So does that mean that this is a standalone novel? Sounds interesting.
standalone? i mean i suppose, its not a sequel or side story to Spectrum, its self contained, is that what you meant?
I feel like a story like this could go any which way in terms of development. Sounds interesting.
Yes! That's what I meant. I just kinda forgot how to English properly there for a second. I've been curious about starting a second novel (one of many others) but I'm afraid that if I start another one before I finish the one I'm on, I'll neglect the other.
for the most part currently spectrum is editing over writing so i can take some time and write another story before i need to focus on the main novel, i just hope people like them both
Well that makes sense. I'm still battling through my first story. I'm about halfway writing it. I started Spectrum and it seems pretty interesting so far, I don't think you have too much to worry about in terms of people liking it.
theres always the paranoia and imposter complex in the back of ones mind, specially in terms of myself, i always worry that i dont portray detail well enough as i kinda imagine my stories as comics, over novels, i just cant draw so i write instead ^~^
Well, let's hope this valiant endeavor of yours works. Here's mine. It's a school romance (set in the Philippines) about two people forced to help their respective friends get together. I guess it should be known that those two people are quite the introverted and antisocial people. Check it out!(Also chock-full of references from various different sources.)
Mine's not a novel as such, but a collection of self-contained short stories.
Perhaps I'll end up linking them all together one day
Give it a whirl
I've just read through the first 3 chapters of The Sphere of Time and I plan on finishing them once I am done with my work! Gotta say, it's been intriguing so far!
Well, this here is the series I'm working on at the moment. It's set in a fantasy world with warfare and adventures. Please take a look if you're interested!
You say flaming trash, but have well over two hundred subs and THOUSANDS of views. OKAY. Sure. lol I ended up subscribing anyway.
Oh wow, really!? Yeah, my story is a bit unorthodox. It's not something you see to often. Thank you for checking it out! I'll be sure to check yours out soon, I promise!
It might end up being a cool project to put them all together. Also, your first publication was on my birthday!
SAME! I think like that about my novel and it makes me feel like I could never provide enough detail to really show the reader my world/characters/actions, etc. It's nerve wracking. I wish so badly that I could turn it into a graphic novel, but I can't draw to save my life and hiring someone to do it is ridiculously expensive. I tried looking into it for the giggles of it and a 15 page comic would cost upwards of about $4,000. fifteen pages! and that's not even colored! That's crazy.
Art in any form is a arduous task, i think any artist, writer, illustrator, would want to be paid properly for their art, i know i do~ currently though i dont even have enough subs for ad revenue >.> so i'll just have to wait a little while
Which makes total sense, I just wish it were more feasible.
At least you have less than 10 subs to go. I still need like.. freaking 32 more subs before I can even dream of making add money. .-.
