hmmm...Most of the stuff you mentioned are all Imaishi shows (studio Trigger which was formed by Imaishi and another director in studio Gainax)

wow...you watched Kase-san? the ending was meh because there was no build up to that one girl running away...like girl what are you gonna do in ANOTHER city with no luggage? Oh well...they weren't given enough time to explore the story I think it goes with a better pace in the manga. The style was pretty FREAKING PRETTY tho. I still remember the watercolor painting-like backgrounds. it was soothing.

good shounen is One Piece (the manga not anime) and Hoshi No Samidare (the manga not anime)
Hoshi No Samidare manga is LITERALLY THE BEST SHOUNEN imo right after One Piece...it's not even shounen...its like a shounen where grown-ups and adults are involved and actually guide the younger ones...ALL ADULTS in Hoshi No Samidare are FANTASTIC and even the villain has a complex character...just read that thing...it's INCREDIBLE and it's like a shounen battle about the fate of the earth but it's a story about growing up and loving the world. the main character teams up with a girl to destroy the world at first, but then learn to love the world and the pain and everything. it's a masterpiece really. I'd say it's better than OP but well...OP is too long and has amazing moments too so I can't really compare
that's enough talking about ONE OF THE BEST MANGA ig...which got a trsh disappointing crap adaptation last year...I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THE JAPANESE
