Daniel, here, just dredging up the past.
Music: I pretty much stopped listening to rock and roll after the 70's. There are still some songs that I play really loud. American Woman – I like to crank it up. Spirit in the Sky – I like to crank it up. Now, let me tell you about Smoke on the Water. Back in the 70's, when I claimed Atlanta for my stomping grounds, there was one particular soda fountain I frequented. It was inside the Plaza Drug Store. There was a place in the plaza you could go to bowl, if that was your thing. It wasn't mine. The bowling lanes were above a restaurant called The Majestic. The Majestic was next door to a restaurant named Doby's. Doby's was a small Greek greasy-spoon establishment at which my Mother waited tables. Back to the soda fountain: not only did they serve a killer lime sour, but they had a row of booths each equipped with a table jukebox. Early in the morning, when the older generation sat at the counter for breakfast and coffee, I liked to take a seat in one of the booths. While I was waiting for my order, I slipped a quarter into the jukebox and treated the farmers to a little Smoke on the Water. (This is me smiling at the memory.) Each jukebox had a setting for very loud.
