Good series cover banner?

Uh, I hope I don´t bother you by asking, but I´ve been thinking to draw a series cover banner (I already have on but that is basicly only the cropped cover page)...but I don´t know what would realy look good!
I have seen some with parts of their pages done together, some where the charakters are at the top taking random poses, some with hints to the synopsis...or just the title with a very beautiful background?
What have you found the most beautiful while reading? becaue of course I am trying to achieve that

My comik is about two teenagers investigating in a crime, mabe that is important to the topic..?

My cover is pretty much just a cropped version of issue 5's cover. I think it should be representative of your comic, and give the reader a good idea of what they are in for when they read your comic. My banner pretty generically shows the two main characters, and that they are serious business, and its a fantasy setting.

I've seen some comics with a title logo, some without. My title is pretty clear on the page already, so I don't bother to messy up the image. Although I notice that sometimes one of the characters gets cropped off if the window is too small, so I might flip the image someday... XD

More important than whether or not it's beautiful is whether the layout of it works for different screen sizes. It's not static, it scales based on the size, so what it looks like on mobile vs a standard monitor vs a large monitor can be dramatically different. It's important to keep anything important in the middle of the banner, both vertically and horizontally. A lot of the banners for series I read look weird on my monitor - many characters end up getting beheaded!

Of course I know your comik, goblins of razard! The Banner is very cool... hm, I´m getting an Idea...
I think I might know what to do xD I totaly forgot about the scenery and how important it was!
Now I only have to think of a way so it doesn´t get cropped Thank you!

Ah, I realy didn´t think of that o.O I´ve only seen tappastic on my laptop, and never on anything else! I´ll have to keep that in mind so my charas don´t have to suffer from beheading!

When I made my cover banner, I basically just wanted it to be bright and eye-catching, plus, I wanted it to prove to people reading the first chapter that my art gets better as it goes on XD
I've been complimented on it before, so I guess I did a good job. Also, I think it sorta adds a bit of interest to the story, because you might look at the cover banner and be like 'what's up with all the hands reaching towards the blond one?' and then you'll read the comic! At least, that's the idea..
So my tips are: eye-catching, interesting, drawn well, sorta has the aesthetic of the story

I suggest doing one with the characters(s) standing or posing, with the series logo on the other side and your update scheduled, and If you want a link to your site.

I actually just put the title as a kind of logo (I don't have a spread of all my characters yet - I want to introduce them first)
