Yeah, that sounds like it would be really hard. It's already hard to lose a pet like a dog or a cat, but at least those guys tend to live for at least 10 or more years, having to lose a cute and friendly pet in an even shorter amount of time just sounds like it would be even harder.
yeah this is true, I have had a lot of hamsters and I can't deal with the loss anymore.
There's a theory that everyone who used to have hamsters as a pet as a kid has at least one traumatic experience related to their passing.
My cousins had hamsters.....their death was horrifying
The hamster mom panicked and ate her children.......
Yeah, it sucks. My brother had a few hamsters and it honestly felt like they lived only 2 weeks or something. We had little funerals in the backyard every summer. But I've had two tortoises for 20+ years so almost all other animals seem short-lived to me, lol.
Hampster do got mad flow tho, not gonna lie.
I am genuinely surprised nobody brought up Hamtaro.
I'm sure people have thought of that, but decided against it due to it being too obvious. XD
But...Hamtaro. The hamster, the myth, the legend. It's a sin not to have him here.
There. XD
I almost had a comic about hamsters I never ended up doing amusingly enough.
They all looked like Hamtaro knock offs, too.
If it is done well I would read a Hamtaro knockoff
Lol, thanks. It was gonna be a Sentai parody called "Hamster Sentai HamHamRangers" that was basically just Super Sentai, but with hamsters. Their megazord was just the size of a human child. XD
(I still gotta watch Hamtaro, actually.....)
What about Hamtaro games? My favorite one is Hamtaro HamHamHeartbreak on GBA. Teaches about different kinds of love.
I need to play those as well..... I do remember a commercial for one of them fairly vividly for some reason.
Just found out that wild hamsters are a thing apparently.
Oh! I know these as "korenwolf" XD Of course there are wild hamsters, they had to get them somewhere right?
Farmers hate these animals but they are adorable
That's such a hilariously hardcore name for something as round, goofy, and cute as a wild hamster. XD
Yeah, it's Dutch. I was surprised as well, you would expect it to be at least dog-like, with a name like that.
Yo, yo, yo, Drip hampsters?
Wait....what?.....(genuinely curious about the specifics)
