Have you been to comic convention?

Been to a few cons and clubs. The only one I enjoyed was AUKon back in 1994 as it was small and only ran for one day. I was younger then and Anime was quite the new niche subculture (vhs trading etc)
Recent ones I hated. Friends always ask me if I want to go.
I'd rather eat glass than go to any more in the future!

Went to a couple of them. I was mesmerized by the content, merch and cosplays.

In a videogame convention i was lucky to go to a talk made by Charles Martinet, the original voice actor of Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi in the games. He's a really cool guy

I've been to several anime/cosplay conventions and sold art prints, stickers, handmade sketchbooks with my fellow art buddies who sold their own artisan pieces. And then COVID happened so I haven't been active in cons since then. Those were fun times!

I met my partner and roommate at a convention! Now we're all selling stuff there together. It's a lot of fun!

It's been a long time, I was at a comic and also an anime convention before the pandemic in my country. It was entertaining and yes, a little expensive. But is it worth it.
