Have you had a mentor for your comic?

Youtube is my mentor, I barely have met any people that are doing comics, most I've seen are too noob

You kinda need an editor who's not your friend. Someone who cares more about the quality of the finished work than your feelings, and who'll tell you whether something is bad or not.

I don't have a mentor though I do have an editor/collaborator for my comic if I didn't I fear I would go off the deep end and make some crazy series that makes no sense

I don't exactly worry about that joe_galindez. I specifically told them to just analyze the thing, strip it down to parts, and critique each one without any care whether I'm hurt or not.
So far it works.
You can make people do anything, you just need the right words and the right people.

Yup. They've been with me through thick and thin. Critiquing my story is just a small thing compared to what I've done for all of them.
It's just an endless cycle of giving and receiving, that's all.

I wouldn't mind helping out new creators though. I suppose that's why I'm on the forums here so much.
