The thing about people on youtube who get marketers and agents to help them is they already have to have a certain number of followers to really consider signing on with a company. You could do that with a webcomic-centric marketing company if that even existed in theory, but...it needs to be for a comic that is already just taking off, to the point where you can't handle the marketing all on your own. Otherwise, there's virtually no return, so I don't think a marketing company would take a new or a small comic.

Actually, my channel about gaming. But I don't go out of my way to play big games, viral games. So I only get a few views. I was talking about it in general tho.

My opinion is it’s good to have a go and then get help from a company when you need support with something specific and more complex. It will help you understand what your investing into as well if you go into it with some knowledge.
