Looking for co-writter(s) or an artist. Here is a short text I wrote:
When the morning came they found the captain's body reclined on a chair behind his desk. There were no signs of violence in the office, everything was in order, except for the safe that the old man had next to a filing cabinet. It was open and completely empty.
-It doesn't seem it was forced...
Searkis said after he finished examining it.
-Most likely, the old man was forced to give up the combination.
-It could also have been a sorcerer's doing.
The youngest of the three inspectors from the garrison number forty-two of the metropolitan police spoke, taking a step forward. It had only been two months since he had been assigned to the garrison, but that short period of time was enough for him to learn about the captain's murky relations.
-A sorcerer? What makes you think that?
Saerkis asked him. Jan didn't answer immediately, he took his time to think what to say. He suspected what was the safe's content and who might have been interested in stealing it. But he couldn't take any risks, because he was one hundred percent sure that Saerkis had the answers to such questions.
-What killed the captain? His body has no bullet wounds, no cuts, no bruises, there are no blood stains. This was not done by a regular person.
Saerkis smiled briefly in such a way that his face took a threatening look as the corners of his lips arched. Jan feared for a second that the ruthless old inspector might see his true thoughts. They held their gazes at each other for a moment.
-An interesting theory. Although improbable, in this neighborhood there are only small gangs of unimportant thieves and bums.
The third inspector, Varene, said while approaching the safe. He bent down to take a look inside.
-Well let's get to work, the officers who stood guard last night must be questioned.
So wanna work together? We could expand on this or start over.
