Right off the bat, an issue might be with the title itself. I don't know if the spelling is intentional, but "Gods Scale" likely makes people think it's a typo (that it should be God's Scale). Unless Gods are scaling something. In which case, I'd still suggest maybe a different title, since that first impression can't really be done much about as-is.
A much more important factor is that growth is slow in general. The fact of the matter is, you've got a bunch of writers on here, all stacked up on top of each other, hoping to get noticed on a site that generally pushes for comics. There's also the fact that it's difficult to attract an audience with people who don't check the "Fresh" section or visit the forums. And, in the case of the latter, since a lot of the promoting is done in the form of link spam threads, you generally end up with the same issue of oversaturation as on the main site itself.
That said, this isn't something exclusive to Tapas. Any site built for creating and sharing creative works that has a notable audience to it is bound to attract aspiring creators. When everyone wants to get noticed, a lot of people dont' get noticed. Unless the staff highlights some of the works. And that comes down to a lot of different factors likely out of your control.
