Hey everyone, my name is Panda, and as the topic title says, I'm here to offer any editing or critiquing services that any of you guys might need.
I'm new here on the Tapastic forums, so I'll start off by giving a little background on myself. I'm a writer with experience in both graphic novels and traditional stories. My most known works probably be the in-progress story "Ashfall: Hopeless" and the in-progress graphic novel "Cold Read", both of which can be read on the app StoryShift. Outside of that, I've also worked on an "Ashfall" graphic novel that is currently on hiatus, due to both myself and the artist focusing our efforts on our separate stories on the aforementioned app.
Essentially, between writing chapters to go up on StoryShift (or waiting for them to be drawn in the case of Cold Read), I have a ton of free time. I don't do much outside of writing and games, so I figured that to add some more productivity to my time, I would offer my services to anybody interested here on Tapastic! I love helping fellow writers and artists out, and that's what I'm hoping to do with this!
I have some experience editing for others, having assisted other writers and artists (both from StoryShift and from outside it) with spot editing when they need it. I also have some experience with filling in gaps in stories written by others, whether that be world building or general plot stuff.
With all of that stuff out of the way, here is essentially what I'm offering.
General editing for scripts, which ranges from readability, to grammar, to direction advice, and whatever else would fall under what an editor would accomplish.
Objective critique for comics/mangas/graphic novels that are already published here or elsewhere. I'll read as much as I need to get a good grip on everything, and then come up with my thoughts on everything.
And finally, story gap filling, for in-progress comics/mangas/graphic novels, and for those that haven't yet begun. I can assist in world building, plot direction, character building, and whatever else you might be hung up on.
Requirements
- None really, I'm willing to take a look at whatever you might have, no matter the genre, format, mature content, or status of your project. The only thing that I ask is that you allow me enough time to properly preform whatever you ask of me.
