You're off to a great start! I like the dark, inked style and it sets the tone of the comic. It feels shadowy and foreboding. I especially like this panel: The black shadows combined with the lighting make it especially ominous.
I also like these textures you use, like the one below. I wonder who that mysterious man is, and I hope the young girl will be okay! And the strange owl at the beginning is very cool.Well done!
