Hobbyist artist looking for writer to collab (unpaid)

Hello, as the title said, I’m a hobbyist artist looking for a writer looking to collaborate with. This isn’t a paid gig, but I see it as if we’re in a garage band doing it for fun and to learn. And if we do ever squeeze out some money from this, then absolutely we split the booty.

About me. I have no portfolio at the moment. Two years ago my computer crashed. All my work was gone. I was heartbroken, and pretty much raged quit right there on the spot. I was in no finacial shape to replace my computer. Times were tight financially for me.
Two years later, I’m now back to where I can afford a laptop on sale and I just bought a 20’ pen display monitor (it’s not a Wacom, but a discount brand). It’s very pretty. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I’ve been sketching, but nothing I feel is fit for public consumption yet. Just me trying to re-teach myself how to draw again.

But I’m ready to get on the horse again and start drawing superhero comics. I have a germ of an idea to start with (the character and basic origin). But from there everything is an open slate for the writer to write what he or she chooses. I game for whatever. I just want to draw this character doing fun stuff. He’s a mash-up of Wolverine and Nightwing, my two favourite characters.

Yeah, I draw in a more western style I guess, so there’s that.

Also, if you have any colouring ability that would be a gigantic bonus. Right now I just want to concentrate on pen and ink/toning. Me colouring my own work work be a huge time dump I’m not sure either of us could afford. (Or we can look for a colourist.)

Also, I’m not the most tech-savy guy, whether it be figuring out the file sizes for episodes and all that jargon, and social media promotions, that would be really helpful if you can be the driving force navigating that stuff.

Deadlines can be discussed. I work full-time at another job so we can work at our own pace. Like I said, I’m a hobbyist.

I would be so down to join you as not only am I looking for a partner to draw short stories and stuff with I'm also trying to become a writer so that one day I can draw my own stories and characters that I think up. I would love to see what kind of art you do(I know its a western style) and how flexible you are with it. I'm more than willing to help out with the drawing as I feel its important that both parties not only do their part but also try to understand and help reduce the work load of the other(s) in any way possible).

The current stories I'm working on include a fantasy and slight mystery story in which we follow a man who has lost all memories and idea of basic things he learned as a kid(such as walking, talking, using tools/objects, etc). Another story that I just finished up in terms of story boarding is a superpower, action, post apocalyptic and adventure type of story in which we follow a 15 year old boy who has to go out and get medicine to help his infected mother. This world is now destroyed because of people who suddenly got the abilities to warp reality(to a certain extent). This boy has to figure out not only how to help his mother but to also overcome the challenges presented by these people.

Maybe if you guys have any writing examples to show, that would help in my search. Also, like I said if any of you can do color flats and are somewhat tech savy that would be a giant bonus.
