How can you use the power to regenerate limbs?

I mean, I know HOW, but how can you do it in a "fun" way, if that makes any sense?

Regeneration feels like a power that you'd have in a more 'badass' environment...I mean, before you re-generate your leg, someone has to come along and rip it off of you at some point, right? Like the whole point of the power is to fix something that has already gone horribly, horribly wrong.

But...the character in question that I'm thinking about that has this ability is supposed to be more lighthearted, at least most of the time. I do enough dark stuff, I just want to do something cute for once. ^^;

They can give classes on dismemberment, anytime and anywhere, with no costs for.. 'consumables'.

Deadpool is pretty good resource on this, though he would usually be in both a bad-ass environment but still make it slap stick comedy. It really depends on the series / camo

There's always the make it very mater-o-fact-I'm-used-to-this-and-don't-even-notice method.

Character: Where is your arm?

Character 2: It's right-- oh... huh... I don't know... somewhere back were we were I guess... I guess that explains the weird tingling. Whatever it'll be back soon.

You can also have the character be horribly accident prone, and since limbs regenerate the body doesn't have to work as hard to keep itself together.

Then there's always the 'comfortable enough with leaving limbs everywhere that I do it to prank other people or make my own Halloween decorations"

Also just don't add the graphic blood and just focus on the concept, and it gets much easier to translate into a joke or lighthearted moment.

For my comic I have a character that sorta does that, cuts himself in pieces (and puts himself back together) with each piece regenerating into a copy of him- (old art, I'm sorry for the quality)

Make them really clumsy? And you could also have them live in an unnecessarily dangerous location by lots of heavy machinary.

I think it could be funny too if the body part that grew back was wrong sometimes. Like they accidentally cut off a finger while cutting up some veggies for soup... and then a toe grows back instead of a finger, so the character just shrugs and cuts off his "finger" again.

idk about funny but there is an opportunity to sell or donate body parts for those who need transplants or simply for risk-free studies (or just idk, morbid purposes?)

The character could be the butt-monkey, always sent into the most absurdly dangerous situations because even if they lose a leg they'll be able to....

Work with dangerous animals?
Depends how powerful and fast it is.

For example if nothing can stop the regeneration then you can make use of the space it takes up when generating so you could shove your skelly arm into a small wedge and use its growth as leverage.

Smuggle stuff? Make a small incision and place stuff within the limb.
Donation? there's blood in the veins of the limbs.
